American don Fred P does deeper than anyone whiners he turns on his machines. It has been that way for a decade plus now, and always with that special sense of melody that lingers in your memory long after his records have stopped spinning. His Private Society series has been chugging along nicely this last year or so - not least with the superb Abstract Soul album back in May. Now he's back in 12" form with another useful EP. 'In The Flow' pairs train-track grooves with sun-facing and freeform synth work to open up your soul. 'Art Life Tribal Dub' is everything the title suggests, and 'Elevated States' carries on that trend of nominative determinism.
