For our forth release, Ordinaire Records is proud to present its first solo EP by none other than Enrico Dragoni!Enrico Dragoni has been quite productive lately and making a buzz in the house and UK Garage scene, with DJs like Brawther or DJ Perception giving him high praises.For this EP, Enrico explores more the “deeper house sound” but still retaining influences from garage with subby basslines and lush pads.In that regard, “Eolian” and “Double Berries” on the A side perfectly embodies these traits. The B side starts with “Boomerang”, which is more on a “techier” sound and finishes on a more laid-back atmosphere with “Booba”, mixing 2-step and 4x4 drum patterns with wailing leads.

Constant Sound is back with more of its constantly good sonics, this time from Dennis Quin who offers up a potent blend of raw minimal, tech and house. 'My Belief' is the sort of cut to get clubs marching as one to the jacked-up drums and whirring synth motifs. 'Hear Dis' has plenty of infectious garage skip to it and 'Eighty Four' layers up slick percussion with bumping drum funk and some nice exotic vocal samples. There will be an all-out party whenever 'Call For House' gets dropped with its wild synth lines and yelling vocals perfect for amping up the crowd.

Opening 4 intense stories EP in side A1 is Giuseppe Angeloro, a talented young Italian producer with one of his tracks that has already ignited several European dancefloors. He will share this side with one of the co-founders of the Offenbach-based HWSD collective Cedrik Dekowski and his strong jamming Roayal, spinning the record will be done by label cofounder Luca Piermattei with Italian voices inside the track, in company with a techno groove and melodic track by the other talented HWSD producer now based in South Korea, Thilo dietrich. These are four different tracks but with a minimum common determiner , that of having a killer instinct for your dancefloor!

Industrious Polish DJ, producer and live performer Szafran is summoned to Thabo's Berlin-based house imprint Home Again, debuting a new alias and sound in his arsenal as he reaches the spaces between house, breakbeat and acid house. The label's third release, Thabo grabs revered Parisian producer Leo Pol for a killer remix.Previously releasing and performing as Oskar Szafraniec, he broke through under the mentorship of acid house legend A Guy Called Gerald, touring extensively together and developing his live show. His releases have come through notable labels Rawax, Deset and Cyclo, while collaborations with heavyweights Ricardo Villalobos and Pier Bucci brought more discerning ears, and basing himself in Berlin ensured that he'd play across the city's hallowed haunts, including Club der Visionaere, Watergate, Tresor and Salon zur Wilden Renate."After eight years in Berlin, I relocated to Croatia's Dalmatian coast last year. There was the enforced break from touring, but I also took a break from producing. I wanted to step back and find new inspirations. I was listening to a lot of Warp Records, feeling hugely inspired by the melodies in Aphex Twin and Squarepusher's '90s releases. My musical direction changed and I wanted to present these influences with my own touch. I feel my music is more emotive through the way I'm contrasting analogue, digital and organic elements and I hope people feel that." - SzafranPacking punch and propulsion in equal measure is 'It's Just A Feeling', a striking, emotive track that cuts through with the sonic signature of the Roland TB 303. Prolific mastermind Leo Pol picks up the pace, giving the track a rerub with all the bang and bustle to vitalise a dancefloor. Prodigious outing 'You Don't Know' enters the field full of vigor with the breakbeat drum loops and 4 X 4 kick drum sequences giving it a propulsive, rousing pace, while 'Infuse' reaches through and closes the EP with a laidback flex.Artwork by Ken Hanamura

Pariter has lined up a trio of classic house reissues for your enjoyment this Spring. They come from Smooth & Simmonds who are famous for managing to smooth out the differences between house, garage and techno and are firm favourites of deep-digging heads for that reason. All of these cuts - which like the other two EPs have been freshly remastered for the occasion - are some 30-odd years old and are textbook examples of timeless grooves. 'Climax' has tight, kinetic drums that punch out an irresistible pattern as swirling pads fishing them off up top in some style.
