Bristol label-turned-blog Innate launches a new sub-label, Innate Editions, which it says is dedicated to timeless UK techno, IDM, electro and ambient music, and it will all come on heavyweight vinyl. The first release revives Connective Zone's Palm Palm, a millennium-era cult classic and Ben UFO favourite that first came out on Mark Broom and Dave Hill's Unexplored Beats in 2001. Now, this long-out-of-print, expensive and hard to find gem has been remastered by Jamie Anderson and so sounds superb with many lavish electronic layers, richly emotive melodies and dynamic drums that lean on UK techno, IDM, and deep electro. Sounds as good now as it ever did.

ER gladly welcomes Juan Barraco aka Bunda to our catalog. Bunda is an Uruguayan producer/live performer who’s been linked to music since a young age through a classical approach with a later interest into electronic music production.Origen EP is his debut vinyl release delivering a solid four-tracks record: dancefloor-oriented pieces on each side’s first half and two downtempo tracks as second choices.A1 ‘No hay salida’ is a proper dancefloor piece featuring a stomper and sticky kick drum along with a non-stop bassline hypnotic pulse. A2 ‘9º Mandamiento’ features a different sound landscape with a hint of Arabic melodies in synths and basslines programming.On the flip side B1 ‘Stardust’ crafts a more sci-fi-bleepy grooving Techno sound while keeping an hypnotical atmosphere all along. Bunda shows a different facet in B2 with ‘Xep Nuit’, where he shows his skills and creativity in musical composition and sound picking.

We're thrilled to welcome DJ Merci with four powerful tracks on the label! These DJ Tools are the perfect sound for our limited series and to conquer the dancefloors. On A1 we start In The Middle with exactly this club feeling and an evocative vocal that couldn't be more appropriate for these times. A2 continues with some funky drum loops and a jazzy sax. We love it! On the flip, B1 starts really smooth with deep chords combined with a conga groove and continues on B2 with bouncing drums and deep minimal house.

Radiant. The title of the 4th release from A_A contrasts with the EP’s delicate, sometimes opaque sonic landscape. Filtered-down kick, grainy lushness of pads, obscure noise, incoherent acapella, and bass that only exist below the frequency band of smartphone and laptop speakers, all contribute to the fiery stillness that drape over each of the 4 tracks included. While the new EP continue to be pinned by the duo’s signature leniency for noise and precise execution of sound design, it sets itself apart from the previous releases by successfully retaining the frail scent of uncontained, improvised performance while remaining firmly within the scope of floorcentric dance music.
