For our second disc of ‘24, ONO returns to the club with ‘Tek Code’, a brilliant EP from exciting up-and-coming Boorloo artist, Beltrac.

Across five tracks, Beltrac serves up his fresh and considered sound. Spanning dubbed-out minimal rollers that hark back to the sleazy, smoke-infused tech-house of the late '90s and early 2000s. Into exhilarating excursions into frenetic drums and deep bass that display Beltrac’s penchant for rhythm construction and sound design. Setting the tone and tempo for Side B of the disc, Echo Response receives the remix treatment from Eora dub king Command D, who mutates the wonky bass chug of the Side A closer into a hazy after hours dub techno strider.

Combining careful attention to detail and excellent technical production with an undeniable sense of groove, Beltrac delivers a club ready EP that tickles our brain while keeping our body moving. Turn it up loud, this one’s for the late night crew.

Extended summer sunshine is poured into all 12”s of Escape Artist’s label debut. ‘Far Away Places’ by Escape Artist is a farewell to festival season in Europe and a warm hello to another dusty summer of parties in the Southern hemisphere. 4 serious trax tracks honed to lift dancefloors and spirits alike.
Since first performing together in 2017, Ciel and CCL have spent years bonding over music, idiosyncratic cinema, and sampling as an art form. After watching the cult-classic movie “Technolust” – in which Tilda Swinton plays four different roles in the same film – Ciel and CCL viewed the role of the "genre-fluid" DJ/producer/multi-hyphenate in contemporary dance music in a similar absurdist light. On Tilda’s Goat Stare, the duo sought to create a record that straddles their love of cinematic immersiveness in dubstep, bass music, and deeper shades of prog with the tongue-and-cheek-sassy flair they’re both known for. Taking genre tropes and pastiche-surrealist scenes as a basis for experimentation, the duo’s music leans into each snapshot, making room for playfulness, cinematic surrealism and self-reference–a rotating cast of samples and characters, with a piece of them in each.
After almost 2 years in development, Manata’s debut LP - The Golden Age, is by far the most challenging project we had worked on until this day. This 9 track double vinyl represents perfectly what our vision is through music and what we aim to do as a label. In this album you will dive into Joao’s biggest influences between house and techno, a journey which will take you back to the golden era of electronic music. As you slide into the tracks, you can notice how the album goes from light to dark, with disc 1 delevering a more housy and groovy vibe, and disc 2 beeing more dark and energetic. Reachable to all ears and dancefloors is how we classify this golden nugget.
