ER gladly welcomes Juan Barraco aka Bunda to our catalog. Bunda is an Uruguayan producer/live performer who’s been linked to music since a young age through a classical approach with a later interest into electronic music production.Origen EP is his debut vinyl release delivering a solid four-tracks record: dancefloor-oriented pieces on each side’s first half and two downtempo tracks as second choices.A1 ‘No hay salida’ is a proper dancefloor piece featuring a stomper and sticky kick drum along with a non-stop bassline hypnotic pulse. A2 ‘9º Mandamiento’ features a different sound landscape with a hint of Arabic melodies in synths and basslines programming. On the flip side B1 ‘Stardust’ crafts a more sci-fi-bleepy grooving Techno sound while keeping an hypnotical atmosphere all along. Bunda shows a different facet in B2 with ‘Xep Nuit’, where he shows his skills and creativity in musical composition and sound picking.

Memento Records is proud to release a 4 tracker from French Producer/DJ and Electronic Music latest sensation Voiron. As a testament to Idriss D’s unflinching commitment to discover new talents, the Parisian multidisciplinary artist’s “Voir’o’one” EP delivers a stunning selection of unpredictable and unabashed beats and melodies, drawing inspiration from his many skills as a musician and as a cartoon designer. Fresh off his appearance at Craig Richards’ latest Houghton Festival, Voiron mixes his influences from genres such as Acid, Rave, Hardcore, Ghetto and Hard House to create his unique blend of music, pleasing the ears of the most knowledgeable cognoscenti and crazy ravers at the same time, creating music that can both be enjoyed at home or get lost to on the dance floor. Title track “Voir’o’one” starts off with a ferocious 4/4 kick drum and acid sounds, its vocal sample swirling around the percussive rhythm; “Voiron Mania” hints at 90s’ early Techno, with 303 crazy arpeggios and subtle mood changes while “Donjon Et Voiron” syncopated breakbeats and mesmerizing synths make for a total club banger. Closing “D’Or Et De Voiro”’s dreamy chords and crescendo tonal phrases round off the EP with an uncompromising vibe, once again showing a remarkable knack for sonic experimentation.
"La Fiesta de los Vampiros" by Bruno: This track is a dark and enchanting chronicle where vampires not only lurk but star in a deadly celebration. Intriguing rhythms and a narrative that blends mystery and theatrics will make you feel part of this macabre dance under the full moon. Are you ready for the invitation? "SinisterFunk" by Kebab Traume: A tribute to 90s new beat with a psychedelic touch that evokes nights in underground clubs. This track cultivates a hypnotic and sophisticated groove, worthy of a place in the crates of the most discerning DJs. Subtle, dark, and deeply addictive."Dracula's Party" by Wil Do: An epic composition with echoes of the divine. Resonant bells, arpeggiated organs, and hymn-like energy make this track a must-have for any festival. The iconic vocal from Michael Jackson elevates the experience to another level. It’s a celestial journey with gothic undertones."Juno" by Anah: An experimental gem that transforms a snippet of an interview with Mark, an elderly man talking about his cat Juno, into a tribute to everyday happiness. Juno synthesizers weave warm, nostalgic melodies, bringing to life a piece that is both intimate and innovative. This release invites you to dance under the spell of the full moon.
It is on dark and sweaty dance floors that we get inspired, connect and leave our differences away to live in the present. With this compilation of music pressed in two parts and written by a set of artists from very diverse horizons, it is Polychrome’s perspective on the rave that we want to share. One where sound and light are the only points of reference, opening the space for liberating experiences.Diffraction EP takes you through the full journey of waveforms traveling through our beloved clubs. Sparking the A-side, Hong Kong’s wonder producer and Mihn Club resident Xiaolin fires up with a progressive and flamboyant house cut, opening an ambitious dance. The tension is taken one notch deeper with Barcelona’s duo Iro Aka signature hypnotic and driving techno sound, dimming the lights for an introspective groove. On the B-side, Lyon’s Desire flirts with an electrifying psy-infused track where pounding beats and floating melodies dance in harmony and psychedelia. It is in a firework that Dublin’s prodigy Dylan Forbes closes out the EP, with an energetic progressive anthem that will light up the space
2024 RepressWriting about techno is quite difficult without falling into cliché: there are only so many ways that you can say something about a music whose core elements are forged on deliberate repetition; where real talent is attributed to those who can find the perfect groove where nothing needs added or subtracted to hold the listener’s attention for upwards of five minutes.Such tracks are the hallmark of Tresor’s catalogue, and this joy in repetition can be found in works from Detroit, Berlin, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and more. And it is through this lens that Parisian artist, UFO95, focuses his output, resulting in Backward Improvement, an EP that sits perfectly in the spectrum of techno found in the Tresor chronology. The title itself makes an abstract reference to the influence of the classics of the genre, inspiring him to take a distinct less-is-more approach to production for this collection of stripped-down yet unrelenting techno chiselled from the live set which has fixed UFO95 as one of the next holdfasts for the future of the scene.Perhaps it is the fact the UFO95 only performs live that had led to such crisp and focussed studio productions.; each of the tracks showcase the artist’s burgeoning talent for creating the essential foundations of techno; perfect, looping, instinctual grooves that are counterbalanced by an apprehensive tension from off-key tones.Backward Improvement marks the addition of a new name in the list of techno’s best producers and proves that while the genre may now be in its 40th year there are yet sonic explorations to be made and variations that are worth unearthing.
