We shall never apologise for our love for the work of Steve O'Sullivan. His contributions to the world of dub techno are second to none. They are also mad consistent both in style and quality which means they never age. Here he steps up to Lempuyang with his Blue Channel alias alongside Jonas Schachner aka Another Channel for more silky smooth fusions of authentic dub culture and Maurizo-style techno deepness. Watery synths, hissing hi-hats with long trails and dub musings all colour these dynamic grooves. They're cavernous and immersive and frankly irresistible and the sort of tracks that need to be played loud in a dark space. In that context, you'll never want them to end.
We are very happy to present our first vinyl release named The Sinergy between light and darkness. We believe that when 2 forces as powerful as light and darkness merge, they create an omnipotent unit, giving birth to amazing creations, works of art like this release. For this release, 4 tracks have been carefully selected that create a balance and synergy between light and darkness. On side A we have Alquimic, curator of this project, with his track Reloaded, and Artesano Titer, a great Uruguayan artist who made us vibrate in the first edition of Cosmic Dance with his live set around the mountains of the Sacred Valley, and where he played for the first time this gem called Shake it.Vibrant synthetic sequences, enveloping rhythms and bass lines and cozy melodies are manifested on this side. On the other hand, on the B side we have Samuel Jabba, a great Colombian artist with countless incredible releases and a unique style with his track Schizoid, and Nicolás Longo, a great emerging Uruguayan artist who we had the pleasure of meeting and experiencing his music in the city of Cusco, with his track Secuencias en Capital. On this side, dark and enveloping melodies, retro-futuristic atmospheres, vibrant rhythms and a lot of mystery are evident.
RAWAX proudly presents Percy X - X Trak 1. & 2!This gem was originally out on legendary SOMA Recordings in 1995!We have the honor to bring this timeless classic after 30 years back to new Life!Special thanks to the lovely people at SOMA for making this possible!Don’t feed the Discogs Sharks!
Dolly TS welcomes Juri Heidemann! The versatile german producer is known for his modern stripped hypnotic grooves and unique rhythm textures. His Echo Mute EP strikes hard with a set of deep captivating, pumping, melodic, razor sharp techno!
For the fifth release, Clut Communication presents the first solo debut of an Uruguayan artist, Molen, with his "Subterranean Practice" EP. Five energetic tracks perfect for the dancefloor, combining elements of punchy electro and psychedelic ambient techno, influenced from 90's sounds.
Remastered reissue of the second landmark EP for Plus 8 Records by Speedy J. Again expanding on the emerging sounds of Techno Speedy J took it further into euphoric, minimal lofi and bleepy territory with ''Rise'', ''Tresor'' and ''De-orbit''. All while effectively stripping it down to the bare bones rocking only a 909 and a vocal sample on ''Something For Your Mind''. This release and in particular ''Something For Your Mind'' was there at the forefront of techno as we know it these days with a harder, raw and no-nonsense approach and all its variations such as Gabber that grew out of that in Rotterdam the following year.
