From the shadowed dancefloors of Amsterdam comes mayo, the goth house queen, twisting her sound into something darker and funkier. Stripping it down, a minimalist machine of tension and release — basslines snapping, original vocals echoing into percussive shapes, and synths bending into warp zones. It’s electronic funk at its most skeletal and seductive: lean, twisted grooves that hypnotize as much as they bombard your soul.Equal parts underground ritual and late-night seduction, the tracks carve out a soundscape where house collapses into post-punk swagger, and funk mutates into something cold, magnetic, and utterly addictive.
The label's co-founder and sound alchemist returns! Serving up his signature blend of heavy breaks and trippy ethereal atmospheres, plus a dash of outer-funky flair. All tracks were part of his livesets, including the featured special remix to PWOG.The label's co-founder and sound alchemist returns! James Baker aka ReKaB passed away very recently and so unexpectedly. He had only submitted the music for his new EP for YORE less than two weeks before his sudden passing. The original title was meant to be "Let the Machines Talk", but we decided to change it to "The Last Talk of the Machines."It feels not only sad but also surreal to hear music that was created only shortly before, knowing James is no longer with us in embodied existence. This is the very last talk of his loved Machines. R.I.P James aka ReKaB- Lost but not forgotten.Strictly limited to 200 Copies worldwide (NO REPRESS).
For the tenth ride on its record-making line, Long Vehicle welcomes Eugene Pascal – the Melbourne producer and Merriware Records driver known for weaving sly, melodic grooves with a carefree twist. The title track, The Departure Lounge, is a harmonized electro-house jam that’s been buzzing in our sets since summer ’24—playful, catchy, and impossible to shake once it lands. On B1, Eugene adds a second original cut, extending the trip with a darker bounce and a touch of acid. And on B2, none other than UK tech house legend Terry Francis flips the title track into a deep, rolling remix—classic London swing with proper late-night stamina. Ten releases in, Long Vehicle keeps rolling.
After a much acclaimed series opener, the creators of The Hidden Beauty Of Dutch House ’94-’98 are back! They’re bringing us this second batch of eight carefully selected masterpieces from The Netherlands’ blossoming scene of the day.Just like volume I, its sequel is filled with thought-to-be-lost tracks from Dutch producers whose names you rarely come across. It took another deep and long dive into the "Atlantis" of Dutch House to gather this collection. Most of the original master tapes literally had to be dusted off before playing…Suitable for any true House afficionado, you’ll find a panoramic range of styles and flavours on this second selection, as there was on the first. A truly representative flashback has to show the versatility and broadness of both the music and culture of the nineties. The days of open minds and dancing-like-nobody’s-watching. When we went to the club to discover new sounds and dimensions. The time when this attractively fresh music was the hero of every successful night.Lovingly compiled for your listening pleasure. So, sit back, open up, and surrender to the beauty of Dutch House!
Running Hot’s eponymous new label is finally here. Kicking things off with 'Bad For The Body, Good For The Soul', four brand new dancefloor-ready cuts from the man himself ready for some heavy rotation this summer. “Local Dealer” gets us started with rattling percussion, moody strings and vocal cuts reminiscent of some forgotten 90s NY classic before “Doggo’s Groove” heads into slicker disco-fueled territory to complete the A-side. Flip things over for “Hippy Disco”, a peak time filter house inspired big room roller, before “Cali” doffs the cap to the smooth sound of early 2000s San Francisco.
