Second release on Hot Street Records comes from Andy Perfetti.Another timeless masterpies on the high rising HOTMIX sublabel.Don't miss!
After a standout collaboration with label boss St. David on last release, Wildbox makes his solo debut on Theory Of Swing Records with the Hot Classic EP — a raw, jacking four-tracker drenched in the sweat and soul of true-school house.A real tribute to the foundational sounds of the club — think Todd Terry’s sample-chopping grit, Romanthony’s garage-infused soul, and that unfiltered swing that defined the 90s NYC warehouse sound. It’s house music with rough edges, punchy drum programming, and unapologetic attitude — built for working the floor and keeping dancers vibing.Written by Wildbox and Mixed, Mastered & Produced by St. David at TOW Records Studio Bari.
The third offering from Marco Passarani's Studiomaster label heralds a significant return: M.Chrome. Absent since 1994 when it debuted on Alan Oldham's Generator, this alias is resurrected to explore new sonic frontiers. While its roots subtly echo a certain legendary Detroit imprint, "Flare Rider" stands as a testament to evolution. This isn't just an EP; it's a series of compelling sonic narratives, guiding listeners through techno and house territories. Expect subtle acid inflections, deep cosmic voyages, and a powerful, melancholic harmonic core that defines its distinct planetary landscapes. Best experienced as the sun begins to rise and the vision of distant planets starts to fade!
Thirteen years after their landmark debut, Italian duo Voices From The Lake (Donato Dozzy & Neel) return with their much-anticipated second album, 'II' (two) on their own Spazio Disponibile. The record marks a new chapter in one of electronic music's most revered projects. Born from a friendship and a singular musical vision, Voices From The Lake first emerged as a one-off live performance in the Japanese Alps, later distilled into their self-titled 2012 album. That record has since become a touchstone in ambient techno, reshaping the global landscape of hypnotic and atmospheric electronic music. In the years since, the duo have performed worldwide, released a handful of EPs, worked on installations, and founded record labels, all while continuing to refine the project's unique identity. Yet the core of Voices From The Lake has always been its deep, aqueous approach to sound, a sensibility that returns in full force on II. "The project was never meant to become what it did," the duo reflect. "At one point, we even paused it. Only to later embrace it in all its forms. II is both a continuation and a reinvention." True to that spirit, Voices From The Lake have explored extremes in recent years, from high-tempo live sets to seated listening concerts, while remaining anchored in the meditative pulse of ambient techno. II extends this lineage, carrying forward the immersive sound design and boundary-pushing vision that has defined their work from the beginning.
Following up 2 VA releases, Threads' journey continues with a solo EP signed by mpeg. The Dresden-based artist delivers a superb EP, an immersive trip into minimal / trance house sound distinguished by his very own array of soft acid synths and percussive lines. We loved the excursion of the EP, every track is sensual yet effective, and generates an extraordinary impact on the dance floor at every different moment of the night... or morning!
