REPRESSAfter a long hiatus, Eric Cloutier returns to his Palinoia label with three tribal techno groovers intentionally built to get the entire dancefloor moving. Having grown up surrounded by the hardgroove sound, Eric latched on to the style and has regularly incorporated it into all his sets for the last few decades. Passionate about the style, and recognizing it being over-cooked and watered down as a current hype and trend, Cloutier felt the need to use his talents and knowledge of the history of the 90's tribal sound to refocus things in a manner only he could do. This three-track EP - the first of two in the set - Perpetual Booty Grooves will do exactly what it says on the label and endlessly whip a room into a frenzy. All three cuts on this record end in perfectly locked grooves, allowing any DJ to keep the vibe going and never letting the audience exit their fugue state.
The Collective Cuts sub-label of Cinthie’s 803 Crystal Grooves makes a welcome return with a fresh VA package, featuring Willy Mikkelson, Luca Olivotto, Batch One and Roque (CRP).Since its inception back in 2020, Cinthie’s Collective Cuts imprint has welcome the likes of KETTAMA, 9th House, S3A, UC Beatz, Anaxander, Azuni and many more onto the label. Here the story continues with more dynamic house jams from Cinthie’s coterie of underground artists from across the globe.Nashville, USA’s WiLLY MiKK leads with Devastate, laying the foundations for the records with a classic Hip House vibe, fusing crisp drums, bright stabs and bumpy bass with choppy hip hop vocals. Small Great Things head honcho Luca Olivotto follows with‘Passion’, the Berlin based Italian delivers his refreshing disco-tinged House aesthetic via funky guitar licks, bright chord melodies, ethereal pad textures and shuffled drums.Batch One’s ‘When U R Free’ follows to open the flip side, merging snaking arpeggios and bouncy bass notes with uplifting piano lines and a raw, robust rhythm section. Spanish artist based out of Basel, Switzerland Roque (CRP) then concludes the package with ‘Bring It Down’, perfectly rounding things out on a deeper tip, raw, reduced drums carry the groove alongside an amalgamation of chopped vocal chants, dubbed out stabs and tension building strings.
Strength in numbers ... after the well received collaboration release of Session Restore and Bernhard Hudalla, we welcome another joined musical adventure by up and coming talents Volpe and Elias. On Mojuba sublabel a.r.t.less. This release speaks stripped back basement-dance-floor Dub Techno through and through! Deep diving reverberating Techno at its best. Turn the music on, float and let go. As usual let the tunes do the talking, enjoy!

One for the heads as they say ... this deep Detroit Techno inspired 12" by UK Techno veteran Paul Mac was supposed to be released on Ben Sims' infamous Theory sub label Navite in 2003, but apart from 5 test pressings with the catalogue number NTV 04 it never made it to a proper release. When asking Paul about this 12" we were very happy that he agreed to release it on Mojuba sub label a.r.t.less. Some of his most soulful and deeper organic Techno EPs finally available and remastered by Redshape to current standards. For illustration duties we are super grateful to have the one and only Kilian Eng on board for the next releases, showcasing some of his sketch work in a new context, some of you might remember his stunning artwork from the Sam McQueen album "Dreams In Sepia" for a.r.t.less. Enjoy! Limited edition in hand-pulled screen-printed cover.
Rick 8 is Riccardo Falsini who, along with his brother Franco, ran the legendary label Italian label Interactive Test. This was a label that was instrumental in shaping the template of Trance, Techno and Progressive House as we understand it today whilst pushing it into new and unexplored realms. As a result, the Interactive Test banner serves as a mark of quality and, as can be heard in this early release from the label, was a vehicle for releasing music that serves as powerful club tools that also defy any standard and limiting sub-generic convention. These tracks will lead to transcendental dancefloor rites for spiritual growth and abundance with sonics beaming in through cyberspace. Sound Metaphors alumni Trent joins for remix of ‘C’Mon’ - what results is a progressive, powder keg and is a welcome addition to the package!
