With Dub Techno firmly back on the menu in clubs the world over, Deadbeat, at long last, resissues what is perhaps his greatest collaborative work with Paul St Hilaire aka Tikiman. A true genre masterclass, as the name suggests,. the album infinitely showcases 2 Titans of the form at their very best, and 10 years on, remains a stone-cold classic. Re-cut by their old friend Stefan Betke aka Pole at Scape Mastering who first cut it to wax so many years ago, this 1- year anniversary edition is a crucial showcase of 2 masters at work.

Kontakt Records presents KNT-47 “Chromatic Noise”, a deep exploration of dub techno and dub-infused house from Canadian producer Matt Thibideau. Across three extended cuts, Thibideau sculpts spacious, analogue-leaning grooves where every element has room to breathe. Subtle saturation, soft tape hiss and finely tuned low-end weight create that unmistakable sense of depth, while shimmering chords and carefully placed delays drift in and out of the stereo field. The result is music that feels both hypnotic and alive, built for long blends, late sessions and sound systems that reward detail. “Chromatic Noise” sits comfortably in the Kontakt Records tradition: timeless dub aesthetics, modern production values and a focus on atmosphere over obvious peaks. It’s the kind of 12" that works just as well as a DJ tool as it does for attentive home listening – patient, understated and endlessly playable. Tiny shifts in texture, filter movement and echo tails keep the tension moving forward without ever breaking the spell.
2026 RepressFORMAT 2LP 180g vinyl, printed sleeve, dl cardJuan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald – the two indispensable protagonists of the Electric Garden – plug back into the wilderness.‘Transport’ – the full length effort brings together a set of studio-refined sequences aimed at colonizing some of the dark energy thatpulsates through those areas that are thoroughly electrified, even if not ‘on the grid’.The Detroit-Berlin axis triangulated to a third point which, like the atomic particle that lives in two places at once, flickers between aform of techno-charged ambience and a futuristic club-jazz which cannot be broken down into constitutive parts.Borderland remains caught in a state of enraptured stillness, invisibly moving between every imagined future for electronic soundmaking. The result: a font from which springs serene and exhilarating musical ideas that vibrate with refined energy for sixty seconds in everyminute.
