Power duo Vil & Cravo debut on Klockworks with a high-spirited 3 tracker showcasing their warm approach inspired in soul and funk tracks from the 80’s and early 00’s.Both behind Portugal’s freshest collective Hayes, the duo started their project 6 years ago with the idea of bringing colour, light and groove to the scene.Fusing funky techno with soulful vocals, this EP reminds us of the carefully chosen euphoric moments Ben Klock drops in his sets with hope to get them back this summer.

Detroit house purveyor Norm Talley has been particularly busy over the past few years, pushing a brand of deep and hypnotic grooves that keeps dancefloors happy. His 2010 track 'Cosmic Waves' is now an evergreen bit of club tackle - "a crisp drum machine bump, teasing strings and dubbed out melodics precision built for maximum immersion" we reckoned last time round and we wouldn't disagree. Remixes from Delano Smith and XDB make this reissue one to catch.

Three widescreen trips from the studio of Berllioz, one of foremost exponents of modular synthesis. Each track uses space and depth to conjure a refined and enveloping atmosphere. The jazzy percussion and drizzly chords of 'Mo Orea' bring to mind a clandestine bar in a film noir. The chatter and hubbub on 'Faka Urea' is brighter, matching the steppy groove. Finally, 'Aphetidae' is an epic, taking in a massive walking bassline, orchestral swells and an extended ambient.
