AV1 is the new project of Chris Carrier & Le Loup. With countless releases under their belts, the parisian producers are long time heroes of many around the globe. ROTCIV has been active since 1996, shaping raves and clubs in the underground queer electronic music scene in his native Brazil. His participation on renowned labels showcase his elaborate sound from Permanent Vacation, Ostgut Ton, Correpondant and Ombra International. As the founder of Mister Mistery, he blends Acid, Disco, House, and Electro with a contemporary edge. Now, for Element of Impact’s second release, ROTCIV delivers a powerful fusion of Electro, EBM, and Techno, pushing boundaries with his distinct style.

This collaboration between Roto and Nulek, was born out of a need to release this unique sonic style to push the existing boundaries and question the status-quo of the establishment.The electric bass lies at the heart of this release, its gritty textures and seismic low-end defining the identity of A2 and B1, while A1 and B2 deliver a more hypnotic blend—versatile and primed for any moment the selector chooses to ignite the dancefloor.
