VRNT presents VRLTD008, bringing together Canadian producer Praymond with remixes by Guy From Downstairs and Cabanne. The label, vinyl-only, rooted in minimal techno and deep house, originally founded in Calgary and based in the Canada/USA-region, has built a reputation for high-quality, rhythm-centered releases. With L’odeur des rêves, Praymond delivers two originals and two reinterpretations that move in the micro-house and deep-house spectrum with subtlety and refinement. The A-side track presents a detailed groove with space and elegance; the Guy From Downstairs remix expands that vision with his signature swing. On the flip, “73 Infuse” anchors the release, and Cabanne’s remix reshapes the piece with clarity and finesse.This 12″ (transparent vinyl, 140 g, four cuts) speaks to selectors and listeners who value texture, groove and mood ahead of showmanship. Dan Formless launches Saboteurs Sanctuary as an auditory expression of his Forward Movement studio in London, UK.An avid collector of music gear with a penchant for vintage units, Dan has scoured the globe collecting rare studio machinery in a quest to create unique sounds. His travels have added further layers to an already rich canvas, painted by DJ exploits across major cities in Europe and Asia, alongside residencies in London nightclubs.Focusing on solo music production, Dan has dedicated the last few years to his creative process liberation whilst experimenting with drum machines, synthesizers and effects. He is now sharing the results of these sonic explorations, delving into the deeper sides of house, techno and electro whilst staying true to his dubby minimal roots.The inaugural ‘Actions Speak Louder’ EP hits the ground running with two original tracks from Dan Formless and a stellar remix from Alex Celler. ‘Nitty Gritty’ is a peak time brain melter with sizzling synth lines and intricate drum patterns occupying the A-side. ‘4Q’ weaves together syncopated rhythms and deep rolling bass lines on the flip side. These are punctuated by playful call-and- response synth motifs to create an enigmatic after-hours slow burner. Alex Celler offers a glitchy ‘4Q’ remix with his undeniable flair for fusing infectious grooves with futuristic aural landscapes in a late night exploration of modular electronics.

Croisière Musique is back with an EP from Gibs, a wild Parisian back in his city after having lived in Bruxelles for some time. With this EP “You dirty little thing”, all sensuality of Gibs’ deep house with a minimal flavor fully flourishes in your ears and envelops you with its warmth.Rhythms remain stripped down and fitted with bouncy basslines which are strongly dance inductive, while the story tends to be narrated by the rich synths and pads reminding us of classical 80s/90s house sounds. Elaborate harmonies and synths lines cannot hide Gibs’ classical background as well as his taste for a wide range of musical styles. All tracks have several phases and atmospheres, starting anchored in the floor with a second part that introduces new synths, harmonies, modulations – an assembly of short musical moments akin to a sonata.Losing Control pays homage to the eponymous dbx track, but this time the feeling of anxiety has been replaced by a feeling of sweet decadence, the sensation of entering or exiting an orgy.SMGS,You dirty little thing and Nuisance all have this Croisière vibe, feeling of floating in the air or the sea, like an endless summer, tainted with a bit of melancholy, while the repetitive swinging drums make us dance continuously, combination making all those tracks trippy yet drivy.Music to make love or to dance to.
