The second release of the Viennese label Connecting People once again provides a stage for an upcoming talent’s first solo EP.Manuel Correa gets straight to the point with “Checkpoint 4”, an acid-loaded, slowly progressing groove, surrounded by mystifying melodic elements.Keeping it dancefloor oriented on A2, he brings out a wide pallet of dark synth and pad sounds, shuffling around a pumping groove.The B Side continues with more breaks, twisted acid sounds, and strange atmospheres while maintaining a moving beat and finishing it all off with a deep electro-tune.

You can always count on Berlin by-way-of New York City's Fred P (Soul People Music) for music of the most deep and emotive nature, and you can bet that's on display for the fourth edition of his Private Society series.
