For the fifth release, Clut Communication presents the first solo debut of an Uruguayan artist, Molen, with his "Subterranean Practice" EP. Five energetic tracks perfect for the dancefloor, combining elements of punchy electro and psychedelic ambient techno, influenced from 90's sounds.
Skudge appears courtesy of Lazy Reflex Complex for the label's third instalment. Skudge delivers two signature style cuts along with an ominous rework of 'Departure' by 543ff. The flip side is delivered by label head 543ff; three techno tools to make crowds move. Mastered by Audiosculpture.
Connwax 09 is the debut EP by Carlotta Jacobi and includes remixes by Arnaud Le Texier and Oliver Rosemann. Boomy pulsating kick drums, complex drones and trippy textures.
"Upon at attempt to repair a broken DAT machine that was in storage for over 20 years, to Maaco's surprise there was a DAT tape still lodged inside! So what would one do? Of course pop that bad boy in a working machine and see what's on it! Enlightened by tracks that he hadn't heard in over 20-25 years, he's excited to share these once forgotten tracks with the world! It's with great pleasure for M.A.P. to introduce to you, the throwback tracks from the vault!!!"
Santiago Uribe is back with a deep and elaborate musical oeuvre, further exploring his signature sound of bright timbres and complex harmonic lines. In this double-record, eight track rendition of a variety of moods, he delivers a wide array of ideas and conceptual statements that get their message through. A complete overview of his different style explorations past and present, this collection satisfies the most demanding connoisseurs.
Mosaic main man and peerless UK dub techno titan Steve O'Sullivan has paired off against Fletcher for this latest heavyweight 12". As ever the foundations are solid on the opener 'Passenger' - smooth drums and bass perfectly sit with one another, but this one really comes alive with the most impossibly subtle but inescapably uplifting little chords that suggest that no matter what shit you have going on in your life, things will be OK.It's a classic amongst many on this label. 'With That' is another tight, compelling and tech tinged dub roller with real bite and drive, and 'Treading Water' then blisses you out with its liquid chords and sense of endless infinite groove.
