Introducing an enormous EP from a rising star in our ever-growing scene: Wooka makes his dynamic debut on ABS, presenting a trio of original bombs ready and tested for the dance floor. Complementing the Frenchman is the acclaimed Velvet Velour, who brings a fresh take on Wooka's, 'I Waaanna See You Dance' with an electrifying remix. Hailing from France, Wooka's talent blossoms on this EP, setting the stage for what promises to be an exhilarating ascent in the world of music.Addition by Subtraction remains steadfast in our commitment to showcasing only the finest artists from every corner of the world. Our signature sound, ever evolving like the changing seasons, is underpinned by a constant: our unyielding dedication and passion for discovering artists.
Sophisticated atmospheres to raw dance floor beats, Ema Remedi give us her own unique style with 2 groovy tracks. Legendary Steve O Sullivan, Mosaic Records owner, brings us one amazing reinterpretation, an impressive magical piece. Vinyl only.
'Unreleased Stuff Part 'I dives into the rich vault of Charles Webster, a revered name in UK house with a career spanning over three decades. This release brings out three hidden gems from his archives that capture the depth of his skill in minimal and tech house production. Side-1 kicks off with 'The Same Thing (instrumental mix)', a refined deep house track with a tasteful nod to 90s acid influences. Over on Side-2, 'Halftoo' delivers a melodic deep house vibe that feels fresh despite its 1997 origins. Rounding out the collection, 'FYU' combines smooth, classy production with that unmistakable 90s touch, creating a sound that feels timeless yet distinctly of its era.
Nothing but nice returns with the fifth slice in the series from co-head honcho James Andrew. Doing what he does best, the record showcases his distinct blend of house, tech house and garage with a bit of dubby deepness thrown in for good measure. Nicely!
Brawther and Tristan Da Cunha's Dungeon Meat deals only in rock-solid house cuts designed for maximum club impact. Their Weapons Of Ass Destruction series is a treasure trove of such sounds and the fourth volume is another doozy: Sweely kicks off with some rubbery tripped-out tech, Frederik Anthony spins out on silky and deft percussive tech on 'Shortbacknsides' and Timmy P's 'Your Parents Are Doing It Right Kev' is a drake heavier stomper for when things get freaky. Boss Priester offers another highlight with the industrial and cosmic tech of 'Today Okay' while JAMM's 'Ignition' is more high-class weaponry.
A new year, a new signing : Life Recorder! The man from the south of France is well know for his releases on Visions, Hizou or his own Life Notes label and represents a very Detroit and Chicago inspired house sound. What does that mean? Just listen to tracks like «Natural instincts» or «Dreams»! There’s deepness, there are melodies, there’s a groove! To complete the full french package, another hot producer adds the remix : Aleqs Notal, well know for his Industrial Light label and releases on Sistrum or Phonogramme. Just follow your natural instincts !
