Aniara's regular label series is back! When Henrik first debuted on Aniara back in 2013 his tunes expanded the label's universe into the realm of razor-sharp tripping tech-house. These four new quality cuts are no different: From the minimalistic machine grooves on Earth Creatures and Your Planet to the spaced-out Drex Vibe and Apollo 11 on the flip! Pre order is highly advised.
Back on track setting the tone for the new year with the highlyanticipated EP "Speed to Burn" by T.E.C. This sonic journey blazes through a spectrum of tempos and moods, delivering five dynamic tracks that navigate effortlessly from floaty downtempo atmospheres to high-octane peak-time bliss. On the A-side, "Angle Grinder" takes center stage as a club-ready anthem with snappy drums and trippy chords, destined to elevate energy levels.Following suit is "Hi Set & Lo Set," a meditative piece that glides through a serene ambient landscape, offering a mixed excursion of airy textures and subtle dynamics.Flipping to the B-side, "Myriad" goes off with a trippy, pumping jam that’s as captivating as it is infectious. Next up, "7001 On Plastic" kicks in with a fast-forward techy chugger—a proper peak-time weapon designed to ignite the dance floor. Closing out the EP, "Wasp" delivers a phased-out, downtempo voyage that lures listeners into a hypnotic state with its breezy, introspective flow. With "Speed to Burn," T.E.C. delivers a masterclass in versatility, showcasing a rich tapestry of sounds that perfectly encapsulate Serenity Now’s ethos. AniaraWL07 links up label mainstays Dorisburg, Efraim Kent, and Arkajo. Side A kicks off with Dorisburg & Efraim Kent's Wired to the Mainframe: a tightly wound, pulse-driven Tech House trip. Followed by X-Files Groove, which strips back the layers and tunnels into a darker, dub-laced transmission. Flip to Side B for Arkajo's two-part Consequence series. Consequence #1 locks you into rolling, UK-inspired rhythms, pushing forward with a warm yet propulsive energy. Consequence #2 turns the screws tighter, upping the BPM and unfolding into a tense, minimal workout where every hit and echo feel essential.
James Baker aka ReKaB passed away very recently and so unexpectedly. He had only submitted the music for his new EP for YORE less than two weeks before his sudden passing. The original title was meant to be "Let the Machines Talk", but we decided to change it to "The Last Talk of the Machines."It feels not only sad but also surreal to hear music that was created only shortly before, knowing James is no longer with us in embodied existence. This is the very last talk of his loved Machines. R.I.P James aka ReKaB- Lost but not forgotten.Strictly limited to 200 Copies worldwide (NO REPRESS).
