After eighteen months of focused work by Tommy (Zulu Matrix), we’re proud to finally give the 1994 Canadian trance weapon, Hyperspace, the reissue it’s long deserved. The original Supernova Mix returns in full force, backed with two brand-new edits on the B-side from S.O.N.S and Tommy (Zulu Matrix) himself, built for modern systems while staying true to the original energy.

Sex Tapes From Mars presents Outdom Records' boss, LATENT, who shares a brand-new four-track EP that spars with breakbeat, electro, house, and left-field electronics, neatly centring them all into a steady, sexy collision. The record as a whole captures genuinely original-sounding, rough-edged b-boy breaking badness - nostalgic, but never polite. It's a few BPMs slower than Sex Tapes' last few outings, but no less effective. Arguably, it's more late '80s sounding than ever, although, in fact, it's a brand-new, stonking release that showcases the label's versatility and unpredictability.
“Embark on a transcendent journey through time as Sex Tapes From Mars proudly resurrects a beloved classic: “Deeper Cut - Feel It”.This release, features bewitching remixes from Velvet Velour and Baldo, and pays homage to the illustrious era's sultry groove while injecting an invigorating vitality into the chemistry.Inspired by the fervent underground movements of the ‘90s, Deeper Cut "Feel It" encapsulates the essence of an epoch gone by, transporting listeners to a realm where unadulterated emotion and infectious rhythms reign supreme. The A1, a meticulously crafted beam of puncturing class, sheds the antiquated vocal elements, presenting a polished rendition that resonates deeply with contemporary sensibilities. This transformative, evocative rework of the acclaimed version fervently championed by FDG, has ignited a digital wildfire, enrapturing audiences and rekindling an impassioned devotion for the track's timeless allure.Serving as celestial companions on this nostalgic odyssey are the luminary remixes from Velvet Velour and Baldo. Velvet Velour infuses their unmistakable flair, imbuing the track with pulsating vitality and entrancing rhythms that elevate the dancefloor experience to sublime heights. Meanwhile, Baldo bestows his idiosyncratic perspective, guiding listeners through an exhilarating sonic expedition adorned with eclectic nuances and an irresistible groove. As Sex Tapes From Mars, and the mysterious label head himself Elon Dust, continue to transcend boundaries and exalt the rich tapestry of electronic music, their latest cut stands as a testament to the label's unwavering commitment to cultural heritage, done properly. For devotees of electronic music and seekers of auditory transcendence, this release is an indispensable addition to your collection.”
Elon Dust’s Sex Tapes From Mars imprint gives Victorious’s 90’s “Play Safe EP” new life, with three remastered house emeralds."All My Love” stands alone on the A-side, and Victorious has successfully bottled the magic of classic house music, delivering a track that strikes brilliance being both timeless and timely. It's a soulful, uplifting affair, sharing an emotive yet slinky journey through rich, sultry vocals and a vintage melody that breaths deep with warmth, swing and euphoria. On the flip, “Can You Feel It” is anchored by dubby, shuffling drums that provide a hypnotic groove, and Victors voice yet again delivers a performance that is as enigmatic as it is intoxicating, layering the track with a sensual, almost haunting allure.A wiggly bassline sets a playful yet driving tone on “Do It To Me”. Spacey synths glide then sweep in, building an atmosphere that is both expansive and intimate, perfectly primed for the after-hours. Each element is carefully placed to serve the groove, making "Do It To Me" a masterclass in restraint. It’s a track designed to move bodies without unnecessary flair, relying on its raw energy and drive to carry the listener. This is house music in its purest, finest and most functional form.
Nuron continues his journey on De:tuned with another selection of unearthed DAT tape gems! Nurmad Jusat aka Nuron / Fugue moved to the UK in the mid 80s. Soon after he went to his first warehouse party. A real eye-opening experience that inspired Nurmad to produce his own music. The first wave of early house and techno records from Chicago and Detroit influenced an entire generation. Nuron became one of the originators of the UK emotive techno sound with his unique and distinctive style. Fast forward a couple of years to when this compilation of archived DAT tape material was recorded. In the late 90s Nurmad was living back in Malaysia. House music was just starting to be played in the underground clubs over there. It was a great time and the vibe was very much like when Nuron went to raves in the UK in 1989-1990. House music all night long! Al White created all the graphic work. Mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis.
The frankly ridiculous Burnski is back as Instinct with more face-melting garage and bassline slammers that update the classic sound with just the right amount of evolution. All of these on his latest for his self-title label are 10/10 weapons: 'Halt' is hurried, swinging and syncopated to perfection. 'Choose One' is less streamlined; instead, there are warped and squelchy lines, bursts of static and a more futuristic twist getting you going. 'Crazy' brings brilliantly chosen and well-deployed samples to the fore over a beat that harks back to percussive UK funky at its finest. The flip side offers a trio of slick bouncers, body-popping movers and brightly lit vibes. Superb.
