ladehouse drops another cut, and this one is special. BHO005 is a collaborative release, crafted face-to-face with whole hearts during a creative hub on Blade-Island. All tracks have been thoroughly tested in the nation’s hotspots for house-heads and beyond.

Opening duties are fulfilled by a grumpy bassline, bouncing and kicking through a sticky drum set, enhanced with mesmerizing FX shots and the occasional scatter. Not to forget the iconic yet subtle vocal chops, erasing any doubts one might have about this weapon of a track.

A2 carries the vibe of its predecessor while shifting into a moodier, dubby corner, featuring swinging drums and a mystic, almost alarming atmosphere, without losing any drive.

The B-side kicks off with rolling subs, a straight, groovy rhythm, and slightly arpeggiated synths pierced by vocoders, paying tribute to nostalgic auditory memories—reinterpreted and molded into a composition fit for any occasion.

BHO005 concludes with an OG rominimal deep smasher, featuring all the chirping and glitchy sounds you might love, tuned to intuitive and distinct perfection.

Under-the-radar and majorly overlooked Glaswegian label Beluga Records, founded and run by Lorne Walton & James Gray, operated mainly in the mid 90's and released a sleuth of music ahead of its time. Together they recorded and performed as Western Alliance and released two recently acclaimed EP's and it's there where we turn our attention to with their 'Atalanta EP' from 1996. Featuring four no-nonsense, stripped back, groovy, dancefloor rammers it's music that seems now more relevant than ever. Serious gear.
If ever a producer could be hailed as the true heir to New York's storied house music throne, it's undoubtedly Mike Terra—and his new, seriously weighty Rhythm of Love EP on Nat Wendell's Depths imprint is a testament to that in strides. The EP begins with the peak-time infectiousness of A1 "7th & C," setting the commanding tone for what's to come. The fittingly Big Apple-titled A2 "27th Street (Dub Mix)" follows, a rollicking shuffler whose fat kicks, stabbing synths, and snapping cymbals recall Johnick's steamier cuts. New York in the 90’s is indeed the frame of reference for this EP, and the B-side finds Terra doing what he does best: creating bumping, stomping, and uplifting must-have workouts for the floor. Whether you prefer the swarthy slapping, Todd Terry-esque groove of title track B1 "Rhythm of Love" or the conga-driven, deep-padded chunk of late-night house that isB2 "City Got You Trippin'," a late-night jam crafted for those still standing, both tracks are bound to find their places in the record bags of DJs—and heads—worldwide.

At the end of the day, it's about human touch, personal connection and emotional reactions. With great pleasure we are more than happy to welcome Session Restore and Bernhard Hudalla to the family with a superb debut 12" for the Mojuba sublabel a.r.t.less. A friendship and collaboration that connects musical dots between Hanover and Leipzig resulting in this release called Pathfinder EP. Session Restore might be familiar to some of you through his label rauh, from the party series he's doing in and around Hanover over the last couple of years or as one of the finest vinyl DJs the city has to offer. The debut EP for the Mojuba sub label is a true love letter in four parts to deep and dubby Techno with an emotional touch. As always, let the music do the talking and enjoy! Limited edition in hand-pulled screen-printed cover.
