Sex Tapes From Mars second outing into space comes from 28-year-old Parisian, Muelsa, delivering four high-octane club thrillers.

A1 - 'Across The Pampa' is spacious in old school lighting, relying on a deep-set rapidly shifting bassline and carnivalesque sample twangs to lift it to a melodic yet high-energy EP starter. This is the kind of track the could as easily be the last and first record at a party.

'Wild Nights' brings what it states in the title; grizzly low end, tinkering upper keys that shimmer psychedelic. The notes that the first breakdown brings paired with that vintage vocoder will give even the most stush raver goosebumps.

On the flip, 'No Joke (G-Knews Mix)' despite the playful sampling perhaps brings the deepest, if not certainly freakiest cut on the record. It combines elements of NY house with rolling nu-school acid and arduous, bumpy drum work.

To close things off, 'Pretty Little Monsters', further bends b-lines and star-line synth twinkles with a maliciously satisfactory attack on the senses. There are cinematic squeals at nearly every frequency, making for a full-bodied finale to a very well rounded second release on this exciting new label.

Vinyl OnlyUndefined #12 comes from the hand of Dan Piu. Since 1992, Dan has been keeping it versatile by blending different styles of music throughout his career. We are very happy to welcome him to the Undefined family. His 'Fantasy Juxtaposition' EP resembles exactly what Undefined stands for; versatile and timeless. On the A side we have a straight up DJ track with a certain techno and bleep flava combined with deep luscious vocals. Aa. gives us an old nu groove kinda beat with naughty 80ies jazz and old school bleepy acid house. The B side starts with a real old recorded 90ies track, one of Dan's first tracks ever made. A dull love romance evolves from a harmony of batteling synthesizers layered on a break beat groove and fueled with a portion of soul. A mindbending trip. The Bb rounds it off! A track that Dan created back in 1998 together with his friend Gary Rich, Take a walk to a mysterious forest with this uplifting vibe. Gary Rich was a mysterious producer himself - people may know him from his Nightstalker moniker which he was in together with Dan.
After the Ukrainian double EP from Sasha Zlykh and Trippsy, Twig comes back with 4 tracks from the Italian producer Lapucci …. based in Florence with his studio, delivering dubplates and mastering service around the world.
Marco Funari’s Music Institute Records make’s a return with it’s first ever release from 1993, remastered and re-released. Another lost house classic
We return with the second Glenn Davis” 12”, a year on from his last Yore twelve-inch “Soul On My Side”, Dublin-based DJ and producer Glenn Davis returns with its sequel, the as-stellar Better Daze. The EP's melodic, soulful sound. The dynamic title cut locks in instantly with a pumping kick drum and builds layer by layer thereafter. Percussion, hi-hats, electric piano chords, and synthesizers add to the thrust of the production as it grows ever more urgent. As the track advances, Davis drapes a jazzy keyboard solo across the booming base as the swing swells to a near-ecstatic level. “Your Time” rounds out the A-side with a cut that suggests pure energy at its outset before quickly morphing into a sleek house strut. With percussion included and late-night synth atmospherics folded in, the breezy tune starts to sound like something you'd hear banging out on the Dancefloor thats surrounding you.On the flip, Davis brings the skipping house groove of "Inner Monologue” to a fever while. Moody chords, hand drums, and a snappy groove set the scene. The female vocalist's soulful delivery and vibes-like earworm that make the tune the standout it is. Think of a dark Room and a red light bulb & House Music forever and a day.
Back in 2021 Dungeon Meat released a special sample pack called Enter The Dungeon created by Brawther which was all run through his rare 12bit Sequential 440 sampler to give that extra grit that we love. A competition was run to allow producers to submit a track that would potentially appear Weapons Of Ass Destruction vol III. Overwhelmed with submissions Brawther and Tristan da Cunha chose A.M projects track which end up on the WOAD release. However they were left with even more bomb tracks from new exciting artists and decided to a whole EP dedicated to the project. The results are 4 killer kutz on one super solid lab of wax that demands to be played all through the night into the early morning. Are you ready to Enter The Dungeon?
